Campaign Proposal- UPDATED
1> background:
The purpose of the campaign will be to promote a ficticious restaurant, as well as advertising the restaurant. It will act as a teaser ad for the store that is being developed.
>Campaign drivers: A fresh look at advertising restaurants. Stylish and functional that attracts the audience. Motion graphics as opposed to "people" videos.
2>Campaign focus: The idea will be to promote the restaurant and show off the restaurant for the opening. The target audience will be passers by - business people, students etc etc any passing foot traffic, with a street booth installation as advertising as well as a motion graphic.
The target customer would be a working class person who will show interest in opening and hopefully arrive and then become repeat customers.
Competition: THE MARKETPLACE
I think family restaurants that have an existing repeat customer basis, Cobb 'N' Co (where is exists) Valentines, Fisherman's Table etc. The thing is that unique restaurants don't have wide mainstream advertising, they usually gain a word of mouth clientele.
3> The Main Proposition
To introduce and market a newly opening restaurant. The style will be classy grunge and done as a motion graphic rather than using people to make a campaign ad. The website will be simple and function giving background and showing on screen menu for the resaurant. The style has to be clean and classy as well as unique and edgey.
I have in mind for the campaign for it to be a fresh new look at marketing a newly founded restaurant. The look will match the restaurants themes (currently under construction), but the main ideas are textures and contrasts of smooth and rough, kind of grungy but neater. Hence the reason why there hasn’t been too much posted in relation to this as its still under construction. Here are some ideas however. One main idea is a copper fronted menu or brand title using that kind of smelted grungy look. I'll post the fonts later as you can't install any at school. How practical. Go the trains.

Campaign banned but still going strong
Xbox 360 banned ad (banned??.. to much imagination possible?)
Its really hard to find any info as to why or if it was banned. Its become more popular as an ad with the word banned being added, so its debatable whether it was a planned "banned" ad, causing it to go viral and therefore reach a larger audience as its more exciting to see something that's banned.
Clever eh?

oh yay for posting. Nokia are doing a big push at the mo for their sexy new mp3/mobile phone, trying to jump on the sony walkman/apple phone idea. its nothing new Nokia.
I only thought of it as there is a lot of print ads around at the mo, mainly I walk past one every day at the train station. Good times.
check out the madness at www.nokia.co.nz/musicconnects but wait you can't as the stupid computers don't have the flash installed. You work it out. haha
